Loved it.
I enjoyed this read. Fat, Drunk, and Bipolar is a deeply personal account of one woman's struggle with her bipolar medical condition. It is a short account yet quickly immerses you into the extreme highs and extreme lows of the illness. The personal story is biting at times, which must reflect the reality but in my opinion shows hope for a good life if addressed properly and resources. In my forties, I know of 5 people with the condition and now I have a clearer and larger picture of their lives. It has helped me understand the illness better and appreciate those who suffer from the illness.
I read it in an hour. I personally got absolutely nothing out of it.

Author painted a realistic view of the impact bipolar disorder can have on those diagnosed as well as family and loved ones.
The truth is spoken here. It's a hard look in the mirror and what has to be a spiritual release of putting it out there for the world to see. Lynn comically admits her afflictions and faults, while introducing herself to the reader before her penning of future novels begins.
Great read for those who are trying to get a personal perspective on Bipolar Disorder. Told from the sufferer's point of view, you get a close up look to the inside of the brain with someone who suffers from this disease.
